Over the past 50 years versatile and labor saving aluminum forms have become the standard forming system used in residential construction throughout the United States.  Basement and foundation contractors have been the cornerstone of our business for many years, so it is no surprise that as we enter the next stage of residential construction (concrete home construction) that the aluminum forming system has been adapted and enhanced to remain the system of choice in this rapidly evolving residential arena.  Hartman Equipment’s ability to customize our Hartman Forms will continue to enable us to meet the complex challenges that lie ahead.

Commercial & Industrial

The rapid adoption of the aluminum forming system in international mass housing and high rise applications has helped open the eyes of the commercial contractor in the United States to the many benefits that the aluminum forming system has to offer.   Today it is not uncommon for the same contractor to have our Hartman Aluminum Forms on the future site of a home one day, a church the next and a high-rise apartment building just days after that.  

Similar to the residential market, where in the end, the type of forms used on a job are determined by the builder, the increased presence of aluminum forms on commercial sites is becoming infectious; the commercial general contractors are taking notice.  Time saved by the sub is money saved by all, and the aluminum system is proving to save that time and leave behind a much higher quality product than is typically seen with wood systems.

Agricultural

From hog barns to mushroom houses, chicken barns to water detention systems, the opportunities to utilize our reusable, labor saving Hartman aluminum forming system are endless.  Custom forms can be manufactured that will allow you to quickly form just about any agricultural concrete structure.

Pre-cast

Customizing equipment to fit our customer’s needs is the rule, not the exception.   In pre-cast concrete applications where repetitive forming of a single shape (box culvert, fence sections, utility vaults, etc.) is required, Hartman Forms offer a fast, re-usable high quality alternative to wood or steel forming systems.

Decorative

Decorative concrete, like concrete homes, is here to stay.  Every day the artistic potential of concrete is being seen through dazzling forming and staining techniques.  And as a manufacturer of aluminum forms, we are once again being challenged to incorporate the hallmarks of our business (efficiency and quality) into yet another portion of the concrete market.

Aside from our traditional vertical brick forming system, Hartman Equipment is expanding its creative horizons and developing and efficient aluminum system that will offer detail not seen in any aluminum forming system on the market today.  Consequently, the builder and concrete contractor will have yet another alternative to offer the buyer.  Stay tuned for our new line of Hartman Architectural Finish forms.
